Awakening Your Inner Spirit

In the past year, life has revealed to me how hopelessly self-absorbed we all are. Most people are longing for something to appear in their lives that would wake up their inner most passion. Do you ever get tired of yourself? Are you tired of doing your programmed routine every morning when you get up and every night getting ready for bed.

Are you still looking for something within, but have stopped looking? Are you wishing for something, but have stopped wishing? Are you tired just bone-weary tired? Though your life is full of doing whatever it is you do, have you resigned yourself to never truly figure your life out, your business out, yourself out? In years past, numerous teens would ask themselves “Who am I?” Today, I have learned that people of all ages are asking themselves the same question.

“What’s next?”

Inspiring stories are interesting and motivational, however; I would rather not dwell on this basis of life and purpose, because you can read success stories anywhere, just Google their names. Don’t get me wrong, I love stories regarding biographies of highly successful people – Thomas Edison, Jerry Seinfeld (his beginning was a struggling standup comic, who was told he was not funny, of which some of you may agree.) Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, Fred Astaire, who was told he had no dancing abilities and went on to become the greatest dancer ever seen on film. Instead, let’s get straight to the heart of the matter – The Process. A process that will point you in the direction towards living a life of passion and purpose.

Although we are facing a slow economy and many people are collecting unemployment, NOW has never been a better time to design your passion.

· Develop a crystal-clear EXPECTATION for what you want to see happen…then EXECUTE (in baby steps, if need be) so that you meet or exceed those exceptions. For many people life has become very challenging and at times we all feel like we are lost in a deep jungle. Together, let’s see life with Clarity, not Fear.
· Clarity of Vision leads to…

Achieving your Mission
Your Success with Purpose
As in construction, there is planning, blueprints, building envelopes (boundaries,) construction stages, and a rock solid foundation.
Vision

Ambition

Most people don’t look outside the box. As a child, we’ve been told to not go outside the lines when coloring. What most people are striving for is a life of passion and purpose, the question is HOW? How do you discover YOUR unique Purpose – and more importantly – how do YOU live it?

I urge you to follow my Blog and provide me with your questions and comments. I will start by asking you a personal thought. You may answer in the comment section or keep it to yourself.

Write down one area of your life where you feel a complete and total lack of resemblance between and of the three: Values, Vision and Your life Roles.

· For example: The answer for me would be: I always wanted to be a performer, preferably in Musicals, however; society was different when I was growing up. You never heard of Goals, Visions, and Values for your life. If you acquired a job sitting in a cubical wishing it was Friday and dreading when it was Sunday evening, you just sucked it up, that was life. Consequently, I had total lack of recognizing my true abilities. I feared stepping out of my comfort zone. As my career path grew, I knew I wanted to become a Presenter and share ideas to influence others, a life skilled coach. Could I have stepped down from the stress of management to a more insignificant position? Could I have furthered my training? At any rate, at this point, I live for the now, It’s A New Day!
